I do not write songs for specific occasions because I never want the words to be forced. However, a friend of mine asked me to write a song for the candle-lighting ceremony at her wedding. I didn’t want to but I prayed about it and eventually this is what came from reflecting on what it means to be united. When one flame is joined to another they become one brighter, stronger light for the world to see. So should it be with our lives and our marriages!
